Ours is a Church of England Aided Primary School, which means that the church and the Christian faith have a high profile in the life of the school.
Collective Acts of Worship are held every day, following the below schedule. They are based on our school vision and values and Church calendar. Moral and social issues are also raised in Collective Worship and there are opportunities for spiritual reflection. Christian hymns, prayers and periods of quiet thought are regularly included.
We celebrate Eucharist as part of our Easter Service in St. Mary's Church. We also attend St Mary’s Church for Harvest, Christmas, Easter and the Leavers’ Service in July. Parents are welcome to join us on all these occasions.
“My time at the Batt was great, we had the best teachers and I learnt lots to become more confident and believe in myself . The residential trip helped me to be independent and was so much fun. I always liked going to pantomime each year too. PE was my favourite subject, we had so many opportunities to play all different kind of sports, I was apart of the school teams and we won many Oxfordshire schools cups! I have lots of memories to treasure from my primary school days.”
